Nayland held its first ever House Day recently. Excitement was high as students had to plan and prepare for most of the events in the week leading up to it. The anticipation of what would happen on the day itself meant that there were lots of students and staff up late the night before making costumes and planning things for their House. Houses in 2012

Nayland College is proud to introduce Aquila, Pegasus, Draco and Phoenix – the four Houses that will foster leadership, participation and create a sense of identity and belonging for students across all year levels.  Houses are organised by the students, for the students.

Junior Prizegiving and the conclusion of Term 4

The last prizegiving of 2011 will be held on Thursday 8 December with Junior Prizegiving at 9.30 am in the Hall. Juniors will be dismissed for the year at 11.00 am. Buses will run as normal. This concludes term four and the 2011 school year.

Friday 9 December is Teacher only day.

New look for paper recycling

The school environment group, N.E.S.T, has been busy working on the school paper recycling system for the last term, with a bright new paint job making sure the paper bins will stand out around school, and new signage on classroom paper collection bins.
