Nayland College is hosting the Regional Secondary School Māori Speech Competitions on Friday 14 June 2013. There will be over 300 visitors in the school for this prestigious event.

 

All staff will be involved in supporting this. Consequently classes will begin on this day at 11.35 am (period 3). Buses will run at the normal times.

 

Please notify the student office if you require your son/daughter to be supervised during periods 1 and 2.

Ngā whakataetae mo ngā manu kōrero o ngā kura tuarua 2013

Nayland College has the privilege of hosting these auspicious Speech Competitions in 2013.  The competitions will begin with a pōwhiri at 8.30am to all schools , taonga. Kai to follow. Competitions begin at  9.45 am and will run through to approximately 5.30 pm.

Students chosen for forum in Japan

 

Four students have been selected to represent Nayland College at the Ritsumeikan International Student Forum 2013. Ritsumeikan is one of our sister schools located in Kyoto, Japan. This is the second time our school has been chosen to attend,  the first being earlier this year.

International students wind up their stay

The last three weeks have been a varied and exciting time for our international students who are not sitting NCEA Exams. It has been an opportunity for them to try subjects that they have not been able to study and also to explore parts of our region.
