The 2013 Careers Road Show will be visiting Nayland College on Thursday 23 May, Term 2 from 9:00am until 1:30pm in the school hall. A range of providers will be attending. There is also an opportunity for students and parents to attend outside of school hours on Monday 20 May; 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Nelson College for Girls and Tuesday 21 May; 4:00pm - 6:00pm at Waimea College.
Otago University are holding a law career function at the Riwaka Room, Rutherford Hotel in Nelson on Friday 7 June 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Any Year 12 or 13 students planning to study law at Otago are invited to attend. Please register your name at the Careers Centre by Friday 24 May.

Nayland College has the privilege of hosting these auspicious Speech Competitions in 2013. The competitions will begin with a pōwhiri at 8.30am to all schools , taonga. Kai to follow. Competitions begin at 9.45 am and will run through to approximately 5.30 pm.
The entrants in the regional competitions are the winners of their respective school competitions, which take place prior to 1 May each year. Entries to the regional competitions must be received by Friday 25 May.

Auckland University are holding a public information session at the Grand Mecure Monaco Resort on Wednesday 19 June at 6pm. Anyone considering Auckland University for 2014 are welcome to attend.
Canterbury University are holding an information evening at the Rutherford Hotel on Tuesday 6 August. Times are yet to be confirmed. Anyone interested in attending Canterbury for 2014 are encouraged to attend.
